A Consumer product which every house hold needs. A laundry bin designed for houses with less space. As every city is growing more and more with population the space available for these people to live are on a decline day after day. This was a part of my internship Project with Mother Earth- a company that focuses on producing sustainable consumer goods and market them around the globe. The design is made so that it can collapse and come back to shape when the user wants it to. The wood used here are used ply wood pieces and the material that wraps around to form a firm structure is called River Grass. River Grass is a high fibrous strong structure can bend in one direction. The images showcase the final product. In early March 2012 nearly a 1000 pieces of the product were sold in around the state of Karnataka itself.
