Tribute to Glen Angus (1970-2007) - As tribute to the late Glen Angus, the people of ConceptArt.org dedicated a Character of the Week competition to him, basing the topic on his well-known collection, Victory Gals. I decided to go for the Flying Fortress accompanied by a Marilyn Monroe-type-figure. I think they both seem mysterious and glamorous, and as we all know, Monroe's life was also taken very prematurely. I imagined that if someone like Monroe were to be part of battle, her method would be smooth and seductive.
Once Bitten, Twice Shy (Part 1/3) - "A house was overrun with mice. A cat which discovered this went there and caught and ate them one by one..."
Once Bitten, Twice Shy (Part 2/3) - "These continual losses scared the survivors into their holes, where the cat could no longer get at them. So he decided that he must entice them out somehow. He climbed up the wall, hung himself on a peg, and shammed dead..."
Once Bitten, Twice Shy (Part 3/3) - "But one of the mice, peeping out and seeing him, said: 'It's no use, my friend; I'll keep out of your way, even if you do turn yourself into a sack.' "
