Re-engineered and leaned out the business processes; incorporated efficiencies into the entire process by eliminating various manual processes and re-architecting the backend database systems. As part of the redesign efforts the team was able to expose the data from AS/400 as API, so not only Lottery's website can take advantage of the backend data, but others can take advantage of it too. The API's will be published on a store front pretty soon, for consumption by citizens, businesses, programmers.
