Kitchen tool handles for SVIM S.A.


This handle was developed in 2002-2003 for a new collection of kitchen tools (spatula, spoon, pizza cutter etc.). The design is still successfully used on the whole range of the tools.

What was very interesting was the fact that no CAD was used for the development of this product. Technical drawing were done by hand as well as a prototype that was sent to the mold maker to be measured and reverse engineered. Presentation was prepared by hand, analogue means and foam models.

As promised I have uploaded some pics from the whole range of kitchen tools using these handles.

I will be uploading some pictures from the design process as soon as I have compiled the necessary material.
