This project was a challenging project. It is composed of creating a concept for the branding of a typographically themed restaurant. This concept consists of creating a casual restaurant, which holds a typographic identity, combining the Latin and Arabic types.

folio 38 is a mixture of the two worlds, showing their differences through typography, which end up as their similarities. folio 38’s primary target audience is the typographic designer, the innovator and creator or simply the lover. It is a meeting place for Latin and Arabic typographers.

The brand icon is the merging between the “o” and “ ?” which is taken from the logotype itself.

Concerning number 38, some changes have been made concerning the shape of the 3. It is derived from the number 8, which will clearly complements the 3 & follows the concept of 38 as a symbol.
