Activity chair - The initial concept was designed in Rhino3D and later it was translated into acrylic. I didn't have access to a large enough laser so all of the pieces were hand cut and polished. The blocks were laser cut and pieced together using a solvent adhesive.
Activity chair with glowing blocks - My design was originally intended for an adult sized minimalist chair built from plywood. Because of my interest in toys the design naturally evolved into a children's activity center. The blocks are motion activated and charge when shaken.
Sky Shark R/C Helicopter - This is a 2 channel infra red R/C helicopter. The Sky Shark is constructed from light weight, impact resistant foam and a carbon fiber frame. Using a tiny lithium polymer battery I was able to get ten minutes of quality flight time. I have always taken pride in being able to make working prototypes of my concepts and this was no exception.
Snowball Scuffle R/C Game - Snowball Scuffle is an interactive remote controlled game where you command your R/C snowball, trying to knock down your opponent's penguin while protecting your own penguin. Each R/C snowball (27Mhz or 49Mhz) will run for about an hour before needing new batteries (two AAA batteries)
