Patio I: Original design. My job was to remove all the vintage hand-made bricks and re-lay them in a more pleasing design. Since these were one-of-a-kind bricks, I had to make sure my design didn't require more than the number of bricks available! The Angular layout, shown here combined with the architecture of the home was far too aggressiv for an entryway in such a serene garden space.

Patio I: Completed project. Old patio was 90 degree herringbone. New design is 45 degree herringbone wrapped in curves, with a single soldier row of bricks along the perimeter, Locally sourced sandstone was brought in for the wall.
