Industrial design, package engineering, and POP design. Key contributor in a wide variety of design projects. Named on twenty plus invention records; Lead inventor on at least 8. Three preliminary Utility Patents have been applied for. Prototyped concepts and customer samples through ArtiosCAD, Kongsberg plotters and 3D printing. Gained fast track experience in rapidly moving product innovations from concept sketch to production ready dies to market.

Industrial design internship in packaging for beverage, food, tobacco and medical packaging industries.
Concept Center International, Anderson, South Carolina - Two back to back product development internships with the Ryobi and outdoor product divisions. Direct experience with 10 -15 different product lines. Created designs from concept sketches to CAD. Prototyping from foamcore to Eaden 3D printer. Intense involvement with visual brand language. Close interfacing with engineering and marketing departments. Awarded design patent. August 2008 - May 2009.
Shidoni Foundry and Gallery, Santa Fe, New Mexico – One of the top fine art foundries in the USA. Summer internship involving all facets of bronze casting; mold making, waxing, shelling, burnout, devesting, chasing and patinas. May/June/July, 2006.
Tesuque Glass Works, Tesuque, New Mexico – A co-op of handblown and cast glass artists. Apprenticeship with experience in glassblowing, casting, and some lamp working. Weekends – May/June/July, 2006.

Special Projects:
Hydrospine - a unique halfback spinal brace intended specifically for water rescue applications. Comprehensive team project. Participation/certification in SwiftwaterRescue Boat Operators’ class. Presentator at National Association of Search and Rescue 2008 national convention, Colorado Springs. Project received significant media and internet coverage. Utility patent applied for, spring 2008.
Science, Mathematics, Inclusive Learning Engagement (S.M.I.L.E.) – team member of interdisciplinary research and development project to create an educational kit for children in rural Appalachia.
