Interactive LED Display
Problem statement: How can we support social wellness and create a sense of safety and belonging in student communities through an interactive media project?
Our team's answer to this was an interactive LED display that reacts to the user's movements. Four colors appear based on the user's distance from the screen, creating a heat map-type design.
We were able to experiment with wiring, coding, and wood construction. ?The first image shows our final design in use, and the last images show our construction process.
We were able to meet our goal of creating an interactive activity that will be permanently installed outside of our studio so students can interact with it daily.
