Container for Living
Container for Living was an investigation into spaces within life that contain. The generic chair was the focus of the investigation, in particular, its adaptations of use within the bedroom.
The bedroom is an environment whereby seating can become of secondary importance. The chair can seen as a storage venue, with favourite belongings draped over as a manner of material preference.
Cardboard model explorations, inspired the rectilinear design language. The process separated the need for storage, with origins of the chair as a seat. The response embraced the two elements to contain, whilst not allowing one to overpower another through use.
