IBM Point-of-Sale Modular PC Concept - Role: Lead Designer
This is a strategic concept that uses the IBM modular PC architecture. Shown is the point-of-sale microtablet design with sliding display.
The challenge was to allow a full scale number pad and a 6.5in screen on the same device, but stay compact and easy to use. The sliding screen solved both problems and the branding was a strategic version of IBM's design language.
