Developed injection molded shoes managing product designs out of Italy, creating final release shoe designs with multiple factories in Asia. Generated over $5 billion in sales during this period. Created 6,600 shoe samples in less than 8 years

Learned, instructed, and adopted Lean Manufacturing techniques for custom spring energized seal manufacturing Lead teams in creating new process layout for all raw material, fabrication, and assembly of custom seals Project Managed $250K worth of capital investment projects including industrial mixers, ovens, and isostatic presses Implemented automation and 5S techniques while cross-training employees as we eliminate waste and connect the process Performed R&D to improve quality and first pass yield of Teflon powders blending with specific additives Used 2D Autocad for factory layout, and 3D SolidWorks for custom manufacturing tooling designs

Research & Snowboard Design / Head Design Engineer - (Morrow Snowboards) Designed snowboards including pro models for top professional athletes approximately 110 specific designs Designed and fabricated Morrow snowboards in Salem, Oregon for one year, then company was purchased by K2 On point for all snowboard Design, Development, Testing, and Manufacturing issues for Morrow brand, under K2 parent Successfully set up the entire manufacturing process to produce 1998,1999, and 2000 model years for Morrow Worked directly with Product Line Manager to concept line plans, technology, budget, seasonal timelines, and graphics

Designed, Developed, Tested, and Manufactured custom snowboards, using Volant's Patented Stainless-Steel Cap construction Designed and patented Powerband Technology using hybrid composite construction Designed and manufactured 125 new snowboard designs within this time period Set up and maintained all manufacturing process and equipment for snowboard manufacturing Developed new snowboard shapes and constructions based on professional and average rider performance feedback
