Lead Industrial Designer for Emtek door hardware, a company within the ASSA ABLOY North America Residential Door Hardware Group. Focusing on improving the aesthetics of Decorative Door and Cabinet Hardware, I also work on design projects within the Assa-Abloy Americas Division.
-Responsible for creating a product development strategy focusing on implementing Industrial Design into the product development cycle.
-Industrial Design along with an aggressive development strategy has been responsible for increased sales growth in the last 1.5 years.

SMK was a US Sales and Design Representative for a large Overseas Trading Company with Clients including; JCPenney, Crate and Barrel, and Pottery Barn.
During my time at the company I brought multiple products to market that are still selling to this day.
My job functions were as follows:
-Research and Identify Design Trends in Furniture, Lighting and Interior Design
-Design and Develop Cost Sensitive, Manufacturable and Marketable Furniture Concepts for our clients
-Gather and Compose a Database of Competitor's Products.
-Identified Voids in the Market and new channels for Product Development
-Corresponded with overseas Engineers during the Prototyping and Manufacturing Process.
