About

My design philosophy; The design process is seamless and forever evolving! I am passionate about textiles and the many different applications for all of them! I adore getting crafty with raw materials that can be manipulated into something wearable, sellable, and appealing to a specific client. The creative process is most interesting to me when there is a history to work from, that facilitates development with an intent to work out the imperfections, and evoke awe-someness!
My philosophy in life is most easily described as Ayurvedic. I believe in engaging day to day with the environment I live in, including nature, food, culture, creative activities, exercise, friends, family, and health! Life knowledge is contributing and connecting to the world you live in!

While attending F.I.D.M. I was awarded the only paid internship in my class. I assisted the owner and Designer of Space Cowgirls through one season of design, development, and production. My favorite project was hand cutting and appliquéing a Golden Gate Bridge to the cape that George Clinton (& Parliament Funkadelic) wore during a concert in San Francisco. Because I was successful in the internship the owner connected me with Julienne Weston, of Weston Wear (my first job in the industry) and my path as a working professional in the Apparel Industry had begun.
