Seattle, WA Lead Project Designer, Zumiez Retail Jun 03/Jun 04 Responsible for complete project design and management for the new look of all future Zumiez retail environments, beginning 2006 rollout. Worked directly with Zumiez Art Director and Principal David Murphy to rebrand the Zumiez retail experience including all custom fixtures, lighting, storefront, signage, and all materials and finishes. Prototype store recently opened outside of Chicago, IL. Dragstrip Design Seattle, WA Lead Product Designer/Project Manager Dec 02/Jun 03 Sole product designer for small start-up consultancy. Primary responsibility for premier client, Ride Snowboards, as project manager for their entire 2004/05 boot line and primary component and visual designer for the majority of the same model year line of bindings. Other projects included conceptual design of six softgood projects (bags) for Bakoda Accessories and complete overhaul of existing Helly Hansen Canada retail environments. General Electric Appliances Louisville, KY Junior Designer/Built-In Cooking Division May 02/Dec 02 Design and develop concepts for new product launches within built-in cooking for both General Electric and Profile brands including conceptual modular cooktop system for prototyping. Provided chosen branding and graphics concepts for the overhaul of the Hotpoint product line, including new graphic look for all future Hotpoint products including refrigeration and microwaves. Developed and documented process for creating ceramic frit patterns for all future General Electric and Profile ceramic glass cooktops. Teague, Boeing Operations Division Everett, WA Industrial Design Internship Jun 00/Sep 00 Assisted in the physical creation and construction of the full sized mock-ups for the new interior design of the 747 and 777 airliner models. Provided further conceptual interior plans for pilot cabins in 3DStudioMax for presentation to airlines. Researched and created system for respectful transportation and storage of passenger who die during long range flight service.
