Semi Automatic Washing Machine / Dec'07 - Hydropower62, a SAWM which been running for a long time. brief was to redesign the top of the machine while keeping the essence of the predecessor.
a market research, user behavior , current trends were done and a final brief was generated.

FAWM [Fully Automatic Washing Machine for the naive :) ] JUNE'07 - The only FAWM was in ONIDA stable.
To counter attack the Korean giants(well,this is how marketing wanted it to be) we (a team of three industrial designer and a graphic designer) were asked to design a range of fawm.
Months long research was done in various areas to pinpoint/freeze the final design brief.

Fully Automatic Washing Machine / JUNE'07 - there were TWO directions chosen - FUTURISTIC and PROGRESSIVE.
progressive was what marketing wanted the machine to be while futuristic was what the IDteam wanted the machine to be.
here is the progressive one with a mock up.. futuristic design is soon going to be there in market..shall upload once it hits the street :)
