Storylines Hierarchy - Many digital news viewers now are still tied to legacy presentation structures such as newspaper and magazine. Funded by the eTV lab at Georgia Institute of Technology, the team strove to break away from the legacy formats into a presentation that provides context on the events and stories.

Storylines Mockup Interface - In order to do so, the team agreed on certain outstanding issues in current news, and collected the news articles in order to restructure the current hierarchical format. The final prototype demonstrated uses Healthcare as the issue. The final hierarchy was solidified into five levels, with the news article as the finest level of granularity, and the storyline as the umbrella topic.

LINK: Speculative Nanotech Display - Although current display technologies are much more lightweight than their analog counterparts, a common laptop is still a burden to carry around. LINK, a feather-light, portable display, is a speculative product based on growing nanotechnology. Users interact with it through touch and gesture.
