Australian born French Artist Aymeric De Meautis. Born 1986.
Tutored by various well known Australian artists in his early years.
Throughout primary school, received countless merit awards for displaying amazing art skills at such an early age.
1994 - First student ever to be placed into the 'Gifted and Talented' class at St Ives North Primary for his creative skills.
1994 - (8yrs) came first in the school and represented St Ives North Primary School in Barnardos charity art competition.
2000 - (13yrs) Was granted admission into the SSDEC (Sydney Secondary Distance Education Centre) and thus was allowed to study art part time in an art school whilst attending normal studies.
2000-2002 - (13yrs) Studied part time at Julian Ashton Art School. At the time was the youngest student ever to be granted in the art school. The other youngest student was 19yrs old.
2001 - (14yrs) First art exhibition at Alliance Francaise de Sydney.
2000 - 2002 - Two years running Winner of Hornsby Fine Arts Society Competition. (Only years entered)
2001 - 2004 - Tutored by Patrick Bernard: Master of Fine arts and the dean of the prestigious Raffles Design College Sydney.
2004 - High 90’s HSC result in Fine Arts with high distinctions every year prior in high school.
2005 - Began studying fine arts at The University of Sydney: College of the Arts.
2006 - Youngest artist to feature works in the Natfel Art Gallery Opening in Woloomoloo.
2006 - 2007 - Bursary of $500 granted by the University of Sydney in 2006 and another $500 bursary in 2007 for being a distinction average student in VH000 (Bachelor of Visual Arts).
2007 - Featured as one of the main running artists in the event "Fashique" @ Ruby Rabbit Night Club.
2007 Feature article in MX magazine, “Nights out inspire art”.
2008 - Graduated from Sydney University College of the Arts: Majoring in Fine Arts: Painting (VH000), with minors in Print Media and Photography.
2008 – For a duration of one year, DeMeautis' art works were featured on the front page of the University of Sydney’s website.
2008 - Exhibition at “The Wall” World Bar, Kings Cross Sydney.
2008 - 4 page feature in ‘No Tears’ designer magazine. Second issue “Chaos & Order”.
2008 - Began experimenting with Adobe Photoshop.
2008 - Granted the VRAW Digital Internship position at Universal Music Australia over hundreds of applicants. Duties included: graphic design, flash design, website content management systems, writing articles, social marketing.
2009 - Worked at Fuel VFX digital animation company.
2009 - Began Interactive Digital Media at Design Centre Enmore.
2009 - Mid year graduated from Interactive Digital Media (all 90+ marks in every subject).
2009 - Accepted in Interactive Digital Media diploma course at Enmore Design Centre. Select few candidates.
2009 - Began freelance motion graphic/video projects for Sydney based music festivals and night clubs.
2009 - Partnership in Video/motion graphics/ promotions company "People Like Us" - working with companies such as Rexy Presents, Munky, Dirty Funken Beats, Sounds on Sunday.
2009 - left DCE.
2010 - Transferred to Screen and Media course at Randwick College.
2010 - Main videographer for iD Under 18s music festival.
2010 - Noted as "the best editor in the whole of Randwick College" - exact words for the head of Screen and Media (/big head). During the graduation show, my works were played first in all sections (cert IV, diploma and Advanced Diploma) even though I was a first year.
2010 - Accepted into Diploma of Screen and Media (select few candidates).
2010 - Working with Munky Entertainment & Soho Nightclub.
2010 - Filmed We Love Sounds music festival.
2010 - Left Randwick College.
2010 - Motion graphic designer for Lightbox Films.
2010 - Working with We Own the Night production company.
2010 - Directed and edited Radio Ink's 'Physical' video clip.
2010 - Main videographer for 'Your Shot' competition.
2011 - Filmed Space Ibiza Music Fesitval.
2011 - Edited IVY NYE Pacha.
2011 - Working with the Ministry of Sound.
2011 - Edited Radio Ink's 'Rocket' video clip.
2011 - Working with Taronga Zoo, videographer services.
2011 - directed + edited 'Someone Else' by Israeli Dubstep artist Borgore, Video Clip.
2011 - directed + edited Ministry of Sound 'Running Trax' TVC

2011 - directed Ohr Wurm - Tommy Trash Video Clip.
