Master Bath : Before. The make-up vanity behind the bathroom door. This area will be eliminated and opened up to allow for easier movement, giving the door a wider swing.
Master Bath : Before. The shower will be updated with slim framework, zero curb, shampoo cubbies, and towel bars within in reach. The freestanding towel unit can then be eliminated providing additional floor space.
Master Bath : Before. Her sink. The sinks are currently split. The new layout will feature a floor to ceiling shelving unit in this space. There will be a long double sink vanity across the back wall of the bathroom in place of the tub, which rarely ever got used, so the clients are opting to eliminate this as well.

Master Bath : Before. Tub corner. I'll incorporate her existing art and sculptures. The blues and greens are so beautiful and refreshing.
Master Bath : Inspiration image. The clients like the idea of a floating cabinet with double sinks. I suggested implementing light at the base, as seen here. Although their floor will have a soft matte finish, eliminating the glare and intense reflection.

MASTER BATH GOES MODERN

The clients love their home, the way it's positioned on the golf course, the pool and outdoor entertaining area, the open floor pan, but the master bath is awkward. A tub isn't really necessary for them. The make-up vanity area is useless. And they are craving modern sleek lines, dark wood and dramatic features. Their project is just getting under way, so stay tuned for progress downloads and ultimately the "after" pictures.
