Adventure Racing Concept - Adventure Racing is a grueling combination of running, mountain biking, climbing, kayaking, horseback riding, etc in one shoe. The two biggest needs are water drainage and fatigue resistance. This design uses ultra porous Brock Foam to drain water through holes in the outsole. It also uses two straps that cross over each other made of a smart fabric that lengthen and shorten based on gait change and hotspots within the shoe.
Frostbite Boots - Warm and functional winter recreation boots. They are designed to make using gaiters, crampons, and snowshoes easier. They are able to be laced while wearing gloves. The inner insulation bootie is made to be removed and stored in the bottom of your sleeping bag to prevent heat drain from putting on frozen boots.
Cross Trainer - Design for Disassembly - Built from a breathable encapsulated foam wrap midsole then wrapped with cellulose fiber based fabric with a plastic stiffening rib. The sole wraps around the shoe for easy recycling and maximum lateral support.
Race Day Shoe - Design for Disassembly - Built from a breathable encapsulated foam wrap midsole with inlaid plastic stiffening web. Then the shoe is seamlessly wrapped in a cellulose based fiber. A drawcord tightens the shoe and stows away neatly. A no frills race shoe that can be remade over and over.
