Normann is the latest fan heater produced by the Italian manufacturer Olimpia Splendid SpA. The product is designed by Sebastiano Ercoli and Alessandro Garlandini who developed it in a unique organic shape.
The silhouette of the oscillating base is continuous with the body of the heater. The base is exactly circular and without marks, so that the oscillating function seems almost “magical”. Together with the dashboard, the base is the only element colored in magenta, in contrast with the dull black of the body.
A strong effort has been also dedicated to the human interface of the product: the knobs were designed with a particular care to usability and the interface is as simple as possible. The dashboard is protected from water by a transparent flap. This makes Normann suitable to be used in a bathroom because the product fulfills the IP21 standard.
