Worked in Palo Alto with IDEO team -viewing, organizing and editing research video, building assets to support research insights, and preparing content for presentation. Continued work with the team outside of Chicago, sourcing materials and helping to organize and execute a full scale “build to think” prototype for a major restaurant chain.

Internship at Ideo San Francisco provided extensive exposure to a wide variety of projects. Worked as an integral part of a team in the design and full scale prototyping for Marriott’s Towne Place Suites brand. Shot and edited a 10 minute film for the ‘Millenials Film Festival’. Worked on a series of designs aimed at reducing the use of plastic shopping bags, conceptualizing, sketching, preparing content for presentation and contributing a short video. Other tasks included CAD drawing, editing research video, vector graphics, model making, etc.

Commissioned to design diverters for outdoor seating at San Francisco restaurant. Required designing to code and keeping aesthetically and conceptually true to Samovar’s identity, as well as sourcing and managing fabrication.
