The Bees and the Flowers
Inspired by the recent decline of the White-Faced bee, native to Hawaii, this illustration explores the importance of the bees. All the flowers are both native Hawaiian coffee flowers, a major export of Hawaii and reliant on the bee, as well as common flowers loved by the honey bee.
To be featured in the Port City Review in 2017.
