>experience Tacoma Art Museum graphic designer august 2017 - Present Manage organization-wide communications collateral and photography. From inventory of branded stock and creating templates to designing publications and stylized campaigns. Tacoma Art Museum graphic design coordinator & photographer may 2014 - august 2017 Manage and design 2D and 3D graphic and product projects for promotional, educational, or commercial use; from research and conception to production and distribution. Correspond with local and international vendors, along with managing in-house photography, website content, and copy editing. freelance designer august 2012 - present Managing various projects of product design & development, prototyping, jewelry design, graphic design, and photography. True Fabrications industrial designer september 2008 - august 2012 Managed all stages of product development from research, prototyping, CAD modeling and branding, to creation of technical manufacturing schematics and international vendor correspondence, even patent filing. Traveled to China to discuss projects and troubleshoot with manufacturers. Currently have several completed projects on the market. Also took on additional responsibilities as a copy editor, e-commerce website content manager, graphic designer, and photographer/editor. Henry Art Gallery digital image enhancer - media lead september 2007 - june 2008 Originally hired to edit photos for web site publication, was quickly promoted to Media Lead and put in charge of checking other individuals’ work and fixing images too difficult or important for anyone else to correct. Also aided in photography and web design. eMedia Music Corporation production artist intern june 2007 - august 2007 Designed and produced images for music-learning software, and was soon given the responsibility of being the only production artist at the company. Made conference calls, file conversions and all edits. Soon after was provided a second computer for side projects that required sensitivity to positioning graphics by the pixel. the Daily | University of Washington designer september 2006 - june 2007 Laid out text, photos, and additional graphics while conforming to a set of style and text formats for next-day publication.
