About

My name is Ana Maia Marques and I currently live and work in The Netherlands. I am a designer working in the field of Web Design and I have a strong interest for Interaction and Usability Design, which I take in account for every project I am involved with.
My goal is to be able to use my expertise in the initial phases of a project where problem solving is crucial for its success.

I come from Portugal where the sun does shine more often, but where you can't ride your bike as you do here. So enjoying the ups and downs of living abroad I have been able to get involved in a wide range of professional experiences.

2010 - web designer at MediaPartners in Amstelveen, position which I currently hold.
2008 - web designer at Mediamatic in Amsterdam
2007 - work as (web) designer at Van Sambeek & Van Veen, architectural office in Amsterdam
2006 - Start an internship in Den Haag at AngiStudio.
2005 - I finish graduation in Lisbon.

In parallel to my work I run a blog (anamm.tumblr.com), now at then. Get together with friends to develop nice projects using the LilyPad Arduino and I always carry my camera in order to improve my shooting skills.
