Frame decal graphics were generated with a web-sourced bicycle image enhanced with Photoshop. All decal layouts were tailored to the RSC customer's interest and aesthetic taste.
Sketch explorations led to the development of a simple logo for Rattle Snake Cycles. The company needed a logo for general advertising purposes and to incorporate into the 3D printed head tube emblem.
After a basic logo concept was chosen, the details were worked out in Adobe Illustrator. Drafting the logo in a vector based program allowed for a smooth transition into Solidworks when it was time to model the head tube emblem.
The head tube emblem model was created in Solidworks to match the exact dimensions of the frame, ensuring the 3D print would be a good fit. It features the RSC logo on the front side and a cavity on the back side to provide space for adhesion.
Head tube emblem printed with red nylon and painted black to highlight the company logo.
