Park and Ride: how to enhance the potential of FLP Lugano - Ponte Tresa railway in Switzerland
The main aim of the project is to redefine FLP Lugano - Ponte Tresa railway in Canton Ticino, proposing a Park and Ride near the train station. This will encourage people to park their cars and interchange with other means of transport. In this way, not only the use of FLP train line will be promoted but also the existing biking and hiking routes will be enhanced in the overall system. Also the concept of flexibility is applied in order to reuse parking spaces.
