Antonio Méndez

BASSO, meaning “low” was inspired by the qualities of plywood, the exposed grain , the rigid structure and planar surfaces inherent in the elements of this type of wood.

In conjunction with Mount Baker Products, a local plywood reseller, a theme of storage was the deciding factor in designing and creating a functioning product for the market. A single four foot square piece was the only limitation for the overall construction with minimal hardware.
