Oak & Ink 1 - Oak & Ink is a wall-mounted wine cabinet, designed for a sponsored project by New Oak. New Oak was interested in attracting a younger audience, ages 18-30. A current trend analysis revealed the growing popularity of tattoos in the last decade. Tattoos were used as the inspiration for this work, creating a unique marketing opportunity. Oak & Ink merges modern form with traditional joinery to keep the characteristics of New Oak, and appeal to a younger audience with a new age design.
