hey thanx man. I've watched youtube vids on guys rendering cars for months, but also making mental notes on what I like and what I'd do different before I started. It doesn't matter how good or bad they are, just focus on techniques and methods. The rest is your foundation skills(color/value/form/light). If you have good foundation skills, then photoshop is just another tool. Sorry if that didn't help much. Just take care with it but also don't be afraid of it. :)
