United States Green Building Council Design Charrette
Kingston, New York
July 2010
Selected to participate in a design competition held by the United States Green Building Council. This charrette was comprised of individuals from various backgrounds from city planners and architects to residents of the city where the design was to be built. Teams developed a design and prepared a presentation to be presented to representatives of the city. The goal was to design a building that held both affordable housing and retail stores and enhance the presence of the local artist community. This event allowed me to
utilize both my design and sustainable building knowledge in a single project.
