Mom's House
This project was during my first year at San Diego State in my class called Contemporary House. Designed with my mom in mind. She is a chef and gardener so the concept for this house was pulled from plant life and growth with a touch of modernism. The parti I drew came to look somewhat like a flower bud. The house is built on an ocean hillside with large windows, open kitchen, rooftop garden and individual rooms for my sisters. The focus of this project was spacial planning and staying true to our original concept.
