Work History

Experience: InForm Product Development: June 07 - present Along with maintaining an active design and project management role in a variety of projects, my new responsibilities as Industrial Design Lead with InForm are to establish company direction and lead the design team in regards to tools, methods, and practices in the ID group to improve company performance and profit. These include, but are not limited to advanced computer modeling and rendering, design thinking and research methodology. At InForm I have worked on numerous projects from initial brainstorming and conceptualization phases and seen them through final design, engineering and prototyping phases and eventually into the maketplace in the areas of; consumer electronics, industrial tools, fitness, medical, military, hunting and recreational outdoor products and futuristic transportation. I have also gained experience as a project manager while at InForm, writing proposals and estimates and operating projects effectively within their allowances and constraints. Most recently I helped lead the company's expansion into a more research-based design process. This has allowed us to create more innovative product solutions that better fit the needs of our clients and their customers. In conjunction with this effort, I also helped lead the redesign of our company brand and website. Hunter Fan Company, Business Innovation Group: June 06 - December 06 The Business Innovation Group was comprised of a small group of designers and engineers that sought out new technologies and ideas and created applicable product solutions from them based on extensive competitor product and user research. These products would then be applied to existing Hunter product lines, or used as pioneer products to open new markets for the company.
