I am an Industrial Designer with 20 years of experience across many different design disciplines. I have primarily focused on Industrial Design: Product Research: Product Design: Design Methodology Development: Manufacturing Process Design for Domestic/Non-Domestic Product Manufacturing during my career. Industrial Design success is not Magic, it's the Methodology!

My career started at a time when most large companies began outsourcing to global manufacturing sites. High finance was becoming more valuable to well established brands over great design or engineering. Without a direct connection (i.e. working your way up through a company) to the companies they were running, soon executives found offshoring cheaper than investing here in the U.S. labor force. It was becoming clear that the benefits and profits of automation and increased production output were being given to market, not the workers or for factory improvements. At the same time most of our Intellectual Property was also being freely handed over to foreign manufacturers for lower prices. I took the opportunity to observe and learn as I am trained to do as an Industrial Designer.

Personally, I have purposely worked for U.S. companies that manufacture in-house and with domestic partners when possible. This decision has given me the opportunity to innovate efficiencies and develop award winning designs and manufacturing processes through CAD/CAM/CNC/3-D Printing. I tried to maintain a community-based focus on creating jobs and reducing cost through smart applications of technology. This has allowed me to use my Industrial Design Methodology along with new technologies (materials/CPU/manufacturing/etc.) as a tool for local growth and job creation.
