I was very excited to work with ILM to develop StarWars Episode 7 product. My role was to concept, refine, and create tooling CAD for all 3D elements for the BB8 helmet. The process began with creating concepts from the trailer and then refining the design once official assets were received. Working closely with Memo Sandavol (graphics) the details and placement were then quickly dialed in.
