Farewell Socialites - To local area residents:
The Socialites are scheduled to play their Farewell (Madison) Show on Halloween Eve, October 30th at Glass Nickel East Madison. Doors open at 9pm and admission is $3. WISD * M Network - the WISD * M Network is a design mentoring program for recent grads. Kelly Lahl, program manager at UWM is on an AIGA-Wisconsin committee working to put this together.
She came up with the name and typographic logotype to put in the running for the final design and asked me if I could revisit an owl illustration I had created for her Graphic Design 1 class my first year to incorporate into the design. The wing span symbolizes an expansion of growing networks and relationships.

Sober Saturday Nights - Sober Saturday Nights is a new youth event program, open to all Madison (WI) 8th to 12th graders. Similar to the 90's Dare Program, Sober Saturday Nights provides teens with a place to spend their saturday evenings as a healthy alternative to recreational alcohol and drug use.
