Therapists and parents use many tools to help integrate different senses into the lives of children with Sensory Disorders. These tools do not encourage other play patterns, nor are they engaging enough for continued use. Tactbots are a fun new way to integrate these senses into a child's life; turning sensory play into sensational play.
This was a recent submission to the 2011 Design Sense Competition. The competition called for ideas that were a toy or tool for children with Sensory Disorders. http://www.designsensechallenge.com/
