Gary, Thanks for the comments. I have really only sketched a lift truck here and there. Did operate a stand up one two summers back in college. So yes, I understand the front blind spots....the one I drove was a stand up. So, you could easily drive it backwards from A to B! Plus, this setch would need a lit more on the front mast.

Very interesting sketch Jeff. I've done a lot of work on this type of vehicle and visibility is of primary importance, the front mast always causing the big blind spot- hence the reasoning behind JCB's Teletruk. Rear visibility on your design would be superb and I really like the integrated mirrors.
