• International Senior Concept Designer leading flagship designs in Asia Pacific, China and Japan.
• Collaboration and promotion of high design between designers in Seattle and within each international global business unit.
• Elevating the Starbucks brand portfolio in key international cities with the incorporation of sustainable and locally relevant designs.
• Launch of the Starbucks brand in India and leader of the flagship desgins and construction execution in Mumbai and Delhi. Gained cross-functional leadership approval and buy-in of design ideas from Starbucks and Tata. Currenly developing roll-out program for 100% India sourced store design components that improve our customers lives and exceed their expecations.
Responsible for the the design and management of a cross-functional, international store development team in China and the Czech Republic. John is also currently working on buisiness critical new market openings in Hungary, Poland and Russia.
John was Awarded the Partner of the Quarter Award for his efforts of opening the Wuhan, China market for the first quarter of Fiscal Year 2009.
Project Architect working on the design and documentation of several mixed use condominium projects. John managed cross-functional client/contractor and consultant/architect relationships to ensure that these large projects met design intent, quality, timeline and budget goals.
Project Designer responsible for the design, documentation and coordination of civic, office and retail projects in the US, Mexico and China.
