November 2011 - Present Happy Latte specializes in video games for the iPhone. I am involved in creating the new games. From concept to cross platform synergy between the game play and branding, I am involved. I adjust workflow and manage design changes and development as we analyze, construct and execute exciting and innovative new frontiers in the video game industry. Concept Consultant / Graphic Design & Direction Hurley Co. Apparel & Fashion industry 2007 - 2010 I worked closely with the Art Director, looking for new trends and concepts to experiment with. I tried to push the branding into uncharted territory with innovative visuals and new directions. My job was to work along side the Hurley team and bring a fresh perspective to the table. Creative Director Friend or Foe Apparel & Fashion industry 2005 – Present Friend or Foe is a small label meant to be an alternative to the license tee movement. Instead of vintage Beatles & Eagles tees, Friend or Foe is the cooler option. By infusing vintage soul, blues & jazz art from artists of a by gone era, Friend or Foe has successfully bridged the gap between classic work of the old school and the sophisticated taste of the modern youth. Since it's inception, Friend or Foe has only had one artist behind the look it's known for. This includes all apparel graphic design, signage, trim kits, print/media collateral, booth display/design and e-commerce. Senior Graphic Designer Modern Amusement Apparel & Fashion industry 2005 – Present When Mossimo Giannulli bought Modern Amusement from Jeff Yokoyama, the apparel designer and I were tasked to continue the brand. We were assigned the duty of taking the brand to the next phase of maturity. Early on we began expanding the clean lines and tidy styling Modern Amusement was already known for. I did the initial graphic package before the full time team was rolled in to take the baton and run with it. Art Director / Senior Graphic Designer Mossimo Brand Inc. Apparel & Fashion industry 2000 – 2007 Primary focus was Mens apparel design and concept. I also worked with Womens, Junior, Boys & Tween design teams. I was also tapped for in store signage and assorted media/print design. I worked with the occasional freelancer and appropriated the work flow. I worked with the apparel design directors regarding upcoming seasons, the look books, presentation boards and executing design directives. I worked with assorted production houses regarding final product. Communication channels and being there to make sudden changes and choices was a key factor in the failure or success of a product. Graphic Designer / Concept & Theory Nike Brand Inc. Public Company; NKE; Sporting Goods industry May 1995 – August 1998 Graphic Designer in Sport Graphics. Concept/Trend research. Worked up strong editorial content and impact slogans that equated retail. Also worked on Jordan Brand and the Mailer. I handled a roster of accounts on a senior level. Men's premium, Limited Edition, Womens athletic and Boys inline. My strengths as a designer was quality and a prolific work rate.
