Design is a World-Changing medium. Through it we can affect lives, lifestyles and encourage learning. I wish to bring companies, clients, people, and the individuals who support my work—consumers— is a fresh interpretation. I want to use design in a positive and insightful way: to expose the world, those people who may not know what I do or how I do it, to life improving artifacts and systems. They may not understand design but that does not mean they don’t deserve Accountable Design

Design Experience
Procter & Gamble (Winter 2009)
• I worked as an Intern in Personal Beauty Care where I developed competitive strategies for brands like Old Spice, Camay and Olay.
• I used their existing brand language and helped them to expand into new market areas. I created a modular design strategy for Old Spice that outlined a route to move the brand into the Prestige market sector.
The McGee Group (2008 — present)
• Created a new brand geared towards young men for the year 2010. The company needed a new market avenue and marketing strategy. Also updated the company with a younger clientele.
The company moved he eyewear and brand I developed into production for Spring 2010.
VTECH (Hong Kong) (Spring 2008)
• I helped the Hong Kong based company, VTECH to create a set of new brand values comprised of a set of affordable communication devices for Single Working Mothers and their families.
I spent two weeks in Hong Kong touring their facilities and documenting their manufacturing process. I was flown to Hong Kong where I presented my concepts and models to the design director where I proposed a new avenue for their brand to expand into.
Gulfstream Aerospace (Fall 2007 — Spring 2008)
• Created brand differentiators that allowed Gulfstream to stay ahead of its competitors in the private jet industry. I designed a program, marketing strategy and product line that harbored periodical interactions between the company and the client, over the course of the jet purchasing process.
JCB Excavators (Spring 2008) Group project
• I headed a design team that re-designed the steering wheel for their construction vehicles. I focused on making the wheel more universally ergonomic and applicable to different climate regions.
SCAD Project Green Bag (Winter 2007 — present)
• I started a project for the Savannah College of Art and Design titled: Project Green Bag. What I am doing is creating a survival bag for incoming freshmen filled with all eco-friendly and Earth-conscious products. This not only arms students with the tools necessary to live more sustainable lives but it allows companies who make green living their mission to enter the lives of those they might otherwise miss. The project operates by receiving donations from companies and organizations.

Me:
I have a background in the fine-arts, painting, drawing and sculpting and as a result I am intrigued by the infinite number of colors available and the impacts they can have on a product; I love the various forms an object or product can assume and how those forms change the way they are received by the world. I notice the way surfaces move into each other and how lines and shapes speak their own language. I only wish to learn the language of great-design and spread the word.
