Blurring the lines between fine art, fashion, and commercial design, I take pride in providing unique solutions to all sorts of creative challenges. I experiment with various processes, production methods and design styles in order to find and explore new routes of visual communication.
My name is Brandon Minga and I’m always on the hunt for greatness.
To put it simply, I design, illustrate and create traditional and digital fine art- usually simultaneously. I’m a member of the rare few who completely live, breathe and eat all that is creative. I’m a catalyst for beauty in chaos, function and decay.
Shortly after graduating from the Milwaukee Inst. Of Art & Design, I embarked on a career that quickly developed into specialist design, apparel, and illustration services. I’ve directed and worked with an awesomely diverse clientele from Kohl’s, Urban Outfitters, Anheuser-Busch, Milwaukee Brewers, Chase Bank and Harley Davidson, to ad agencies and up-and coming musicians. I relentlessly explore the newest trends in art, fashion, design, technology and music; these ignite inspiration and reinvention of my work. I see myself as a quasar to creatives- collaborating with artists, musicians, fashion designers and anyone with a drive to turn an idea into something explosive.
I take pride in providing unique solutions to many forms of creative challenges. I experiment with various processes, production methods and design styles in order to find and explore new routes of visual communication. I defy aggressive timelines, budget constraints and diligently manage multiple, concurrent projects. My approach to a project is determined by my understanding of its needs and is never a default setting. I always focus on exceeding the needs, wants, and goals of clients and target audiences.
When I'm rarely not making things I stay active, teach classes, volunteer, discover new sounds and music styles, grow tattoos and spend time with the family.
