2008 - The City of Stockholm

Stockholm.se - The City of Stockholm wanted to make it easier for the citizens to find things and provide a unique level of service online.

I worked with this project through research, concept, prototyping and implementation. An extra challenge were the high accessibility requirements and lots of content.

Most of the research for this project was focused on input to the information architecture. We needed to learn how citizens with different levels of knowledge about the city's organisation would look for information and how to best support them. Through focus groups, interviews and user testing we were able to build a site that was an efficient tool for both novices and more experienced users.

The site was launched as a beta-version in parallel with the old site and was expanded and refined over time before fully replacing the old site.
