My goal is to find an entry-level/junior level position in a creative environment with people who are passionate about and have fun with their work. I am a keen observer of people and trends and an avid pop-culture junkie who enjoys the design research process for concept ideation. I would be an asset to the right agency/company that shares these sensibilities and could use my skills.

Customer service/craft demonstrator/Merchandising
• Providing customer service and sales to crafters, graphic designers, event designers, brides etc. Strong presentation skills from demonstrating various crafting techniques and teaching workshops in bookbinding and greeting/invitation card design and craft. Assisting with merchandising and knowledge of materials/construction from building seasonal window displays from scratch. Position provides opportunity to learn how to handle various kinds of client personalities and situations tactfully and articulately.

BROWN + PARTNERS – Dallas, TX, May 2007 – Feb 2008
Junior Graphic Designer
• Concept, design and production for various Zales brand catalogs. Also produced direct mail, newspaper inserts and package design pieces. Created a direct mail piece for a line of Russell Simmons Jewelry carried in Zales stores. It was accepted into a local direct mail marketing competition. Participated in brand naming and logo explorations for Frito-Lay, Art Now, Centurion Jewelers and others for the sister company, Brand Agent.

Creative Intern
• Wrote press releases and assisted various principals with media planning research and pricing for various design jobs. Design and layout of template for a future company brochure. Gained experience in client interaction in various concept meetings for companies like Macaroni Grill.

• Created a successful annual report from concept to design, copywriting and layout. Received very favorable feedback from the client. Assisted studio principals with production work, press checks, concept work as needed.
