Nike - Footwear Designs

A selection of shoes I designed for Nike. Range of years = 1997 - 2007

One of my all time favorite projects, the Cityknife earned Nike's annual Shoe Dog Award for Most Innovative Product in 2003.

An inspiration and sketch board that was put together for PR on the Cityknife.
A Trompe L'oeil collection of shoes I created for high end boutiques. These are based on vintage Nike styles. The intriguing part is that they are one piece satin uppers and the pattern pieces are just printed...the soles are leather and again, the outsole pattern is printed on the leather to give the illusion of actual rubber tread.

An update of the original Talaria from Nike. This was a lower profile and narrower last to make the design more sleek.

A few styles I designed during my tenure in Cross Training. The last one is an initial concept for the Ovidion shoe, which was a reversible shoe. Martin Lotti took over this project & completed it once I left Cross Training to start up the Fusion category, which is now known as Nike Sportswear.
