Senior Art Director — August 2000 to February 2009

As Senior Art Director, I was responsible for concept and execution of marketing campaigns for Real Estate and Retail clients including such accounts as Heritage, Duplin Winery, Savvy Homes, HUE and Blount Street Commons.

In addition to design, I was also responsible for paper selection, printing styles and vendor usage. Relied upon for overseeing completion of marketing pieces with local vendors. In addition to working directly with account executives and clients, I was also involved in the presentation of new concepts, roll-outs and pitches. Additional responsibilities include: art direction with designers, team training, troubleshooting and file management for the creative department.

PRINT DESIGN: logos and identity packages, brochures, newspaper/magazine advertisements, FSIs, direct mail, promotional items, packaging, site plans, sale center layout and design, Realtor events and outdoor advertisements.

INTERACTIVE/VISUAL DESIGN: website concept and design, e-blast, television commercials, voice talent, photography, retouching, photoshoot styling and art direction.

Graphic Designer — May 1999 to April 2000

Primarily worked with the CORT Furniture Rental national account. Responsible for design of brochures, advertisements, direct mail, and other print collateral. Supervised and executed new campaigns which also included photography, printing and roll-outs to the field.

Graphic Designer — Oct. 1994 to May 1999

Designed promotional materials for various companies including: brochures, newsletters, logos, business stationery, advertisements and fliers.

Supervised and trained all second shift staff on departmental procedures, film output, film checking, job organization and all hardware and software within the department. Managed all corporate accounts such as: GlaxoWellcome (GSK), BASF and Quintiles.
