Freelance Packaging Designer, Art Director / August 2008 – Present
I have ten years of packaging, branding, print and digital design experience. As an independent contractor I have worked on a wide range of print, packaging, branding and digital design projects for both luxury and mass market brands. Select clients include; Elizabeth Arden, L'Oreal, Mercedes-Benz, Kotex, Coppertone, Soft Soap, Kraft, and Molson. I love the collaborative design process and I am an excellent team player and manager. I am currently seeking freelance and contract opportunities in the NYC area.

Art Director / September 2006 – July 2008
Travel + Leisure Magazine
As an Art Director for Travel + Leisure magazine I directed the design of all the materials for the luxury advertising and events team to ensure brand integrity and to meet marketing objectives, budgets and timelines. I oversaw the concept ideation, design, production and project management for all brochures, press kits, invitations, packaging, websites, photoshoots, outdoor advertising and event displays to ensure a level of excellence in all creative work. I supervised a staff of 3-4 design personnel and managed all departmental budgets.

Freelance Sr. Graphic Designer / June 2005 – September 2006
As an independent contractor I worked on a wide array of print, promotional, packaging and web design projects. Select clients include; Néstle and Adventure House Creative.

Graphic Designer / May 2004 – June 2005
Brand Engine
As a graphic designer for the agency Brand Engine, I worked on package designs, promotional materials and brand strategy for media company Hewlett Packard. Projects included designs for a wide array of products including electronics, ink and media packaging. Additional projects included food and beverage packaging and brand identity designs.

Jr. Graphic Designer / September 2003 – May 2004
Anthem San Francisco
I worked as part of Anthem’s creative team designing packaging systems for the Albertson’s Essensia premium consumer packaged goods line. Projects included designing packaging for; ice cream, organic juice, coffee, and pharmaceutical products.
