About
I was born in the South and raised in the Midwest. I studied Art at both Antonelli College (AAB) and Union Institute &University (BA). The passion for visual and performing arts started with my childhood. I spent my allowance on art materials, music, clothing, and dance classes. These experiences have to lead to a very diverse artist with a love of international cultures and artworks.
My work is a need to paint, design, and create décor: both a passion (relief) and challenge. Inspiration can come from a place, memory, or moment. I am not confined to one medium or media. Though abstract paintings (acrylic and watercolor), and specifically with collage and charcoal. In conclusion, I continue to learn daily, but my experience has given me a new perspective on art. -

The intention is to expose West African and Caribbean movement and culture to our clientele. Additionally, I became a soloist artist, learning 150 folk dances in the company's repertoire. Finally, performing in the 2010- 2015 E-Wa Josin! National Spring Tour.
