Typewriters - Waffle Iron - Problem: Typewriter - Take this now useless item and give it a new life than it was intended to have. Solution: The "Corona-Matic" a typewriter turned into a waffle iron that makes keyboard shaped waffles. Part of: The Next Best...Ding! A traveling exhibit on the reinvention of the typewriter. Chess Set - Understanding the game of chess, the problem was to design an unconventional chess set. My solution was to use magnifying loupes of various shapes and sizes to form the hierarchy on a light box board with slides to create the checker pattern. "The Shining" Cuckoo Clock - Problem: Given the elements of a cuckoo clock: The clock itself, the cuckoo motion and sound, and the pendulum, capture a moment in time fitting these elements to a concept.
Solution: "The Shining" Cuckoo Clock; Every hour Jack breaks through the door and the famous line "Here's Johnny" plays followed by the scream of Shelly Duvall.

Gas Mask - Problem: Given a gas mask with its drab appearance as a point of departure, adapt it to fit aesthetic sensibility of or daily lives. Solution: A gas mask turned into a shower head. EXHIBITIONS: "Bed Bath and Bombshelter" Art Directors Club, May 2002 PRESS: CNN

The Bobble Head Salesman - HORSEPOWER! an exhibit featuring horse-drawn vehicles re-imagined for a world deprived of oil. This is the Bobble Head Salesman carriage. The carriage itself resembles an oversized bobble head that is rigged to bob side to side. The toy-like horse advertises Bobblemanâ€™s current product line: â€˜Heads of Big Oilâ€™. In a world without oil companies, these former C.E.Oâ€™s are now collectors items. Exhibited in the Long Island Museum from February 2nd - March 2nd 2008

Brake Drum Light Sconce - A light sconce made from a used car brake drum. Worn down on its inner ring, it creates a reflective surface for for light.

Burgertime Place Setting - Problem: Redesign the classic place setting: fork, knife, spoon, cup, and plate usign unconventional materials Solution: The Burgertime Place setting, using videogame controllers as utensils and a TV screen plate that plays the classic Nintendo game 'Burgertime'

MTV Moonman Prop for 2002 Video Music Awards - Created and fabricated the 'Moonman Waffle-Maker' along with prop waffles for the "Best Group Video" bumper spot on the 2002 Video Music Awards
