Chess Set - Understanding the game of chess, the problem was to design an unconventional chess set. My solution was to use magnifying loupes of various shapes and sizes to form the hierarchy on a light box board with slides to create the checker pattern. The Bobble Head Salesman - HORSEPOWER! an exhibit featuring horse-drawn vehicles re-imagined for a world deprived of oil. This is the Bobble Head Salesman carriage. The carriage itself resembles an oversized bobble head that is rigged to bob side to side. The toy-like horse advertises Bobbleman’s current product line: ‘Heads of Big Oil’. In a world without oil companies, these former C.E.O’s are now collectors items. Exhibited in the Long Island Museum from February 2nd - March 2nd 2008
Brake Drum Light Sconce - A light sconce made from a used car brake drum. Worn down on its inner ring, it creates a reflective surface for for light.
Burgertime Place Setting - Problem: Redesign the classic place setting: fork, knife, spoon, cup, and plate usign unconventional materials Solution: The Burgertime Place setting, using videogame controllers as utensils and a TV screen plate that plays the classic Nintendo game 'Burgertime'
